A woman-owned company, Messermeister has handcrafted hot-drop, hammer-forged knives in the historic cutlery center of Solingen, Germany, for 40 years. The blades are made of a high-carbon alloy that resists stains and corrosion, and ground to an exceedingly sharp edge. Handles carved from olivewood feature distinctive grain patterns that make each one unique. This set includes six essential knives for everyday food prep, four steak knives and a handsome acacia magnetic block for convenient countertop storage.
