These buttery shortbread cookie logs are great to have on hand for last-minute guests. Already mixed and formed, all you need to do is slice, bake and enjoy. The dough logs are specially made for us by Sweet Things Bakery, a San Francisco Bay Area favorite for more than three decades that specializes in classic American baked treats. Each shipment contains four logs in assorted flavors, yielding approximately 36 cookies per log.
Plain: Butter-rich shortbread dough rolled in large, crunchy sugar crystals.
Chocolate Chip: Butter-rich shortbread dough studded with semisweet chocolate chips.
Cranberry: Butter-rich shortbread dough with bits of chewy dried cranberries.
Apricot: Butter-rich shortbread dough with chopped dried apricots.
