A woman-owned company, Messermeister has handcrafted hot-drop, hammer-forged knives in the historic cutlery center of Solingen, Germany, for 40 years. The blades are made of a high-carbon alloy that resists stains and corrosion, and ground to an exceedingly sharp edge. Handles carved from olivewood feature distinctive grain patterns that make each one unique. Each of these steak knives has a curved tip for optimal slicing control.
