Brothers Jordan and Jared Schmidt lend a designer's sensibility to both the knives they create and the wood blocks that stow them. An eclectic mix of FSC-certified acacia wood, BPA-free acrylic, magnets and brushed steel, Schmidt Brothers' modern, space-saving storage block showcases cutlery while protecting hands from blades. The two-sided magnetic block stows up to 18 knives behind a scratch-resistant sheet of clear acrylic, making it easy to access exactly the knife you're seeking and slide it back into place after use. At only 3 1/2" deep, it takes up minimal counter space, making it ideal for even the most compact kitchens.
