Our potlatch seasonings are inspired by the natural botanicals Pacific Northwest Indians once used to prepare salmon for their ceremonial feasts. They'd season the fillets with wild herbs, then grill the fish over a crackling driftwood fire on the beach. With our classic blends, we've made it easy to re-create these rich, smoky flavors at home. The Original seasoning features a versatile spice blend that includes paprika, crushed red pepper, chile pepper, oregano, basil and coriander. For a fresh twist, the Lemon Garlic seasoning combines tangy lemon and savory garlic with fragrant turmeric and cardamom. Ideal with fish, both seasonings are also delicious rubbed onto steak or blended with safflower oil and used to baste chicken, turkey and pork.
